BAROLO BRICCO FIASCO

From the top of this steep and warm hill in Castiglione Falletto, the first Cru vinified separately. Historical Cru produced since 1978. A unique value for the family. Here the vines were planted in the 1940s by Luigi’s father, Lorenzo. Today, the same vines produce small, concentrated bunches and their ripening is impeccable. The white calcareous soil gives the wine an elegant profile with sweet and silky tannins. The name Fiasco comes from the shape of the hill where the vineyard is located: it has a rounded shape such as a flask, the old bottle used in the past to contain red wine. Superlative harmony and elegance: the vines age, 65 years on average, gives indescribable aspects. Enveloping and neverending flowers and fruits. Bricco Fiasco shows perfectly the radiant personality of Castiglione. Extremely perfumed, floral, with a core of red fruit. Rich, warm, intensely fresh. Ripe tannins
