Vinification

The grape harvest normally occurs during the first two weeks of October. The production is approximately 50 ql per hectar. After temperature controlled fermentation is over, the wine undergoes a aging period of 12 months in french oak casks, tonneaux and Barriques, followed by a bottle refinement of minimum 6 months

Description

Colour: deep, intense ruby red colour
Nose: ethereal, deep, balanced nose with a rich scent of fruit and spices
Palate: full bodied round taste

Winemaker's Recommendation

Perfectly suitable with game and medium seasoned cheese. The magnificent structure enables further ageing. Serve at a temperature of 18°C
