Production zone

This Arneis comes from the vineyard “Prato della Porta” in the area of Rodello and is 430 meters above sea level. The vineyard is on hilly ground with clayey, lose and fertile soil with a South East Exposure

Training system and vineyards

This organic vineyard is composed exclusively of Arneis ( indigenous vine), with Italian cloning material on so4 and Kober 5BB. The training system is modified Casarsa with 4,200 vines per hectare

Technological mentions

A soft pressing of the grapes and a cold decantation for 24 hours: a temperature-controlled fermentation (18- 20 °C) for 30 days followed by 90 days lying on its yeasts: (to extract the mano protein) the wine then rests for at least two months in the bottle

Sensory characteristics

An intense straw yellow colour with golden reflexes; delicate and light. The various flowery notes and in particular white flowers are evident to the nose. Sensations of peaches, melon and passion flower. In the mouth it is full, soft with sensati0ons of apples and melon

Pairings

A pleasant aperitif, pairs well with starters, fish, sushi, shell fish and light cheese
