Characteristics

The wine fully expresses all the characteristics of Nascetta, semi-aromatic grape: citrus, apple, pear, acacia flowers, vegetable freshness, exotic fruit, hay, straw and grapefruit!
It is not afraid of the time, that turns out all its mineral note. With the evolution, the nose evolving towards notes of hydrocarbons and flint and the mouth from fruity to salty flavors. For this reasons it has already been compared to the great white wines of the Rhine region. Great aperitif, to combine with raw fish, white meats and fresh cheeses. The Nascetta has acquired prestige and obtained official recognition of the “Langhe D.O.C.-Nascetta”, also thanks to the studies conducted on this vine from the Serra dei Fiori winery in collaboration with the Agricultural University of Turin, starting, first, on the Il Fiore – Langhe Bianco, cuvée of Chardonnay and Nascetta.
