A range of vineyards that starting in Barolo, opening up to Novello and reaching out to Bricco Bertone in Sinio

Harvest and winemaking

Harvest of Nebbiolo takes part in the first half of October. The manual selection, as well as transportation in small crates, help to keep the fruits intact. The rigorous selection of the grapes starts in the vineyard and continues in the cellar. Fermentation lasts 15-18 days on average

Aging

Six months in stainless steel with a minimum share of neutral wood before bottling

Tasting notes

Ruby bright red and delicate color. Intense notes of violet and Fanée rose, accompanied by the freshness of small red fruits. Silky tannins cover the palate with personality and energy

Curiosity

When the days get shorter and the temperatures begin to drop at night, the aromatic range of Nebbiolo gains its full abundance. Only then we will start to harvest, early in the morning, so that the juice contained in the berries, preserves all its freshness. The low temperature leads to a slow multiplication of the yeast, the production of delicate aromas and stable colors
